I am a Designer, Traveler, and Problem-Solver.
I was born and raised in India, until I decided to move to US. This move added a lot to my view of the world and how people from various backgrounds and cultures interact with things differently. These experiences helped shape my views as a designer.
I consider myself a multi-disciplinary designer as I love making anything, but have recently found a passion in creating thoughtful and enjoyable user experiences through UX design and research.
With my extensive experience working in tandem with engineers, executives, and marketing teams, I know how to ensure user needs are aligned with business goals.
I grew up in India, and am now living in Mountain View, CA. Willing to Relocate!
Iโm a traveling foodie and a good cook ๐ฉโ๐ณ (acknowledged by my friends)
Things I love: ๐ธ ๐ ๐ธ ๐ถ๐ ๐ ๐ ..... and most of all emojis ๐ ๐
I am always eager to learn from anyone โ regardless the industry they are working in
My design career began as a HAPPY accident ๐
Ever since I can remember, I've always loved art and creating new things. Of course, now I know that great design is more than aesthetics, but I think my eye for visuals has definitely helped in my UX career.
It wasnโt until I attended a design thinking workshop at my previous company that it clicked in my mind that my passion in design could be transformed into a full time career. I immediately fell in love with the science & methodology behind design. The exciting problem solving and multidisciplinary nature of UX design inspired me to pivot my career.
After exploring more, I realized that my research background and a natural inclination towards aesthetics will hugely help me design empathetic, meaningful and visually appealing solutions. This realization led me to pursue my masterโs degree from Arizona State University with a focus on Human Centered Design.
Ever since then, I am always learning new skills (The newest skill being interaction design).
